“Everyone’s been clamoring for a pizza restaurant since Sbarro left,” Duebber said. “Pizza is a favorite of mall customers and for employees of our mall tenants.”
Phantom Pizza opened its first location in December 2014 in the food court inside the Mall at Fairfield Commons in Beavercreek. The new location will be more than twice the size of the Beavercreek location, however, and will include seating. Renovations are underway to the restaurant’s kitchen, rest rooms and seating area, and the new restaurant could open as early as late September or October, Duebber said.
The pizza restaurants are owned by local business owner Ahmed Taha.
The restaurant will offer New York-style pizzas, as well as salads, soups and pasta dishes.
