Do you have old tires taking up space?

If so, you can get money for them next month. The Montgomery County Environmental Services will host its fifth Tire Buyback event Sept. 24.

Residents can earn $2 for every scrap/used tire they bring, up to a maximum of 10 tires per vehicle.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Montgomery County Solid Waste District Transfer and Recycling Facility, 1001 Encrete Lane, Moraine.
