PNC Bank to open new Dayton headquarters

PNC Bank on Monday will open its new regional headquarters at the Water Street District development in downtown Dayton, company officials announced.

PNC will anchor the first phase of the $45 million Water Street project, occupying the top two floors of the four-story, 50,000-square-foot building at the corner of Patterson Boulevard and East Monument Avenue.

PNC also will open a new retail branch located in the building’s first-floor lobby.

The mixed-use Water Street development will include 215 luxury apartments, office and retail space, and a new parking structure.

“The move to our new local headquarters location underscores our commitment to the downtown area and the entire region,” said David Melin, PNC regional president, in a statement.

“We believe it is essential to keep PNC in our urban core, and the Water Street development is a reflection of our long-term commitment to the Miami Valley,” Melin said.
