"Due to the large number of students and staff who are ill,” she wrote. “We hope this extra time will allow our students and staff the time needed to rest and recuperate. We will be working with our cleaning company to take extra measures to disinfect the school.”
It’s unknown what type of illness was impacting the school community.
Buschur added that children should be kept home if they have a fever or are vomiting.
