Lynn lives in Kettering and is a lifelong resident of the Dayton area, growing up in Clark and Montgomery counties. She graduated from Tecumseh High School and the University of Dayton, where she earned a bachelor's degree in English and Communication Arts/Journalism.
She began working at the Dayton Daily News in 1995 and prior to that was at the Springfield News-Sun. She began her newspaper career at the Xenia Daily Gazette in 1985.
Lynn is the government enterprise and political reporter for the Dayton Daily News. She does investigative projects, covers elections and writes about political issues. She previously covered Montgomery County government, Dayton Metro Library, the Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority, education, manufacturing, labor unions, and Greene County.
