Nancy Wilson has been co-host of the K99.1-FM Morning show since 1989, and has been writing the "Gone Country" column in DDN for five years!
A native of South Charleston, Ohio, she grew up listening to country music and is a lifelong fan!
A 1985 graduate of the University of Dayton, she's also a lifelong fan of the Dayton Flyers!
Nancy is a big believer in "giving back." She co-hosts the "K99.1FM Cares for Kids Radiothon" and CMN Telethon on WHIO-TV for Dayton Children's, is a Board member for SICSA, is a tutor for the Miami Valley Literacy Council, volunteers for ARC Ohio, MRDD and was honored as "Woman of the Year 2009" by the Dayton area Leukemia/Lymphoma Society for raising the most funds.

Did you catch the Academy of Country Music award nominations Monday morning? Potty-mouthed Twitter king Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire (who is looking really muppet-like these days — discuss among yourselves) spread the good news on the CBS “Early Show.
I may not be as hip as I’d like to think I am, but I’m not completely ignorant when it comes to modern technology either.

If you did, you are aware it was a big night for country music. If you didn’t, you’re probably still aware it was a big night for country music.
It doesn’t matter how old I get, I still get distracted by whatever happens to catch my attention at the moment .
Country music has always hung its 10-gallon cowboy hat on songs that tell stories about real life. Whether it’s “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off” (and it can, or so I’ve heard) or “You Belong With Me,” artists pride themselves on singing about everyday events.
