Dayton Flyers sell out exhibition game

Flyers play Findlay at 7 p.m. Friday

The exhibition game between the Dayton Flyers and the Findlay Oilers sold out Thursday, UD announced. It’s the first exhibition sellout in program history.

The Flyers play the Oilers at 7 p.m. Friday at UD Arena. Doors open at 6 p.m. The game is not on TV. It will be broadcast on WHIO radio: 95.7 FM and 1290 AM. There will be a live feed of the game on Atlantic10.com.

Last season, Dayton had a crowd of 12,073 at an exhibition game against Saginaw Valley State. Two seasons ago, a crowd of 11,753 watched Dayton play Southern Indiana in an exhibition.

UD is encouraging fans to arrive early for the game. UD averaged 12,942 fans last season. That was the second-best total in UD Arena history.
