Former Ohio State star Joey Bosa making NFL history

Joey Bosa’s rapid rise to professional stardom surprises nobody. A national champion at Ohio State, Bosa was the most dominant college defensive lineman since Ndamukong Suh.

Bosa, selected No. 3 overall by the Chargers a year ago, has quickly developed into one of the NFL’s best sack artists. He pairs with Melvin Ingram to form arguably the best edge duo in the league.

And it’s just his second year. On Sunday, he made history.

Bosa is one of the best building blocks in the league. The Chargers desperately need positivity at a time when the franchise has become the butt of every joke. Bosa is providing plenty of reason to believe the playoffs aren’t as far away as some might think.
