Pitcher-hitter hybrid Hunter Greene, drafted No. 2 overall in June, is the Reds’ best prospect at No. 23. Third baseman Nick Senzel, drafted a season ago out of the University of Tennessee, is one spot lower at No. 24.

Outfielder Taylor Trammell came in at No. 70, while pitcher Tyler Mahle, who’s on a recent hot streak, is at No. 85. Mahle is the only of the aforementioned players who could make his major league debut next month.
Luis Castillo, who’s arguably been the Reds’ best starter, made the “others considered” list. With how he’s pitched in his rookie season, the Reds won’t care about his third-party prospect listing.
Second baseman Shed Long and outfielder Jesse Winkler were also considered.
