Kyle Davis won’t play Thursday for Dayton Flyers

Senior guard to miss game for first time since freshman season

Dayton Flyers senior guard Kyle Davis won’t play Thursday against Richmond at UD Arena. He sprained his ankle and bruised his foot Saturday in the second half of a victory at Duquesne, and Archie Miller said Tuesday he would be a game-time decision.

Davis has played in Dayton's last 93 games. He hasn't missed a game since his freshman season.

PREVIEW: Richmond at Dayton

Davis is the fourth Dayton starter to miss time. Josh Cunningham has been out since tearing a ligament in his ankle in the second game of the season. Kendall Pollard missed the first six games with a thigh bruise. Charles Cooke missed three games with wrist and back injuries.
