The No. 5 Ohio State Buckeyes have found their magic numbers: 62-3.

For the second straight week, Ohio State won by that score. They routed Nebraska on Nov. 5 at Ohio Stadium and defeated Maryland on Saturday for their third straight victory.

Ohio State moved to 9-1 overall and 6-1 in the Big Ten with two games left in the regular season.

J.T. Barrett completed 18 of 27 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed 11 times for 47 yards and two scores.

Mike Weber gained 93 yards on 12 carries with a long run of 28. Curtis Samuel led the receivers with five catches for 74 yards.

The Buckeyes built a 21-3 lead after the first quarter and a 45-3 halftime lead.

Samuel scored three touchdowns in the first half, two on runs and one on a pass from Barrett, who rushed for two touchdowns of his own in the half.

Dontre Wilson also scored in the first half on an 8-yard pass from Barrett.

Tyler Durbin kicked a 45-yard field goal in the final minute of the half.

In the second half, freshamn Binjimen Victor caught his first career touchdown pass, a 25-yard score from Joe Burrow. That was the Buckeyes’ last score with 9:30 left in the fourth quarter.

The Buckeyes return to action at noon Nov. 19 at Michigan State, which ended a seven-game losing streak with a 49-0 victory over Rutgers on Saturday.
