Reds claim pitcher off waivers from Pirates

The Reds on Monday claimed right-handed pitcher Lisalverto Bonilla off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates and placed him on the 40-man roster.

Bonilla, 26, last pitched in the Major Leagues in 2014, appearing in five games with the Texas Rangers. Bonilla was 3-0 with a 3.05 ERA and made three starts.
