This game is best remembered for the controversial overturned touchdown by Jermaine Gresham in the fourth quarter. The Ravens took advantage of the ruling to hold on for the win and move into a first-place tie with the Steelers on the way to winning the AFC North championship.
Nov. 20, 2008 – Pittsburgh Steelers 27, Cincinnati Bengals 10 at Heinz Field
Ben Roethlisberger threw for a touchdown and ran for another to lead the eventual Super Bowl champion Steelers to the win in a nationally televised Thursday night game that dropped the Bengals to 1-9-1.
Nov. 20, 2005 – Indianapolis Colts 45, Cincinnati Bengals 37 at Paul Brown Stadium
Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns to out-gun Carson Palmer (335 yards, two touchdowns) and keep the Colts unbeaten at 10-0. The Bengals fell to 7-3 but went on to win five of the next six to claim their first division championship since 1988.
Nov. 20, 1994 – Indianapolis Colts 17, Cincinnati Bengals 13 at Riverfront Stadium
The Bengals held future Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk to 28 yards on 16 carries, but Don Majikowski hit Sean Dawkins for a game-winning 8-yard touchdown pass with 1:54 remaining to drop Cincinnati to 2-9 on the way to a 3-13 season.
Nov. 20, 1988 – Cincinnati Bengals 38, Dallas Cowboys 24 at Texas Stadium
Boomer Esiason threw three touchdown passes, two of which to tight end Rodney Holman, and James Brooks ran for a score and caught another in what remains the only win at Dallas in franchise history.
Nov. 20, 1983 – Cincinnati Bengals 38, Houston Oilers 10 at Riverfront Stadium
Just two weeks after beating the Oilers 55-14 in Houston, the Bengals put 38 points on them in the first half. Ken Anderson threw three touchdown passes, Pete Johnson added two scoring runs and the defense intercepted Oliver Luck — Andrew’s dad — three times.
