Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert provided an update on his rehabilitation from back surgery today via his Instagram page.

Eifert had season-ending back surgery in October after re-injuring his back in a Week 2 loss to Houston. He finished the season with four receptions for 46 yards.

Eifert said he “can’t wait to be playing again a Pro Bowl level next year!”

Eifert also had back surgery in December, 2016, heading into the final year of his contract with the Bengals. Eifert was the team’s first-round pick in 2013. He was limited to just 39 of a possible 80 games because of injuries.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder has 127 catches for 1,537 yards and 20 touchdowns in five seasons with the Bengals. Eifert was a Pro Bowl selection in 2015 after 52 catches and 13 TDs.
