Crash injures at least 4 people, including 2 children, in Dayton

Two children were among four people injured in a Tuesday evening crash in Dayton.

Emergency crews were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash reported at 5:32 p.m. at North Gettysburg Avenue and West Hillcrest Avenue.

A 911 caller told dispatchers that the crash was between a black Ford Focus and a red Lincoln MKX. The caller said that the driver of the MKX was unconscious, and that another person on scene was attempting to break out the back window to get to her since all the doors were locked.

At least four people were injured in the crash, with four medics responding to the scene. One medic went from the scene to Kettering Health Dayton (formerly Grandview Medical Center), one went to Miami Valley Hospital, and two went to Dayton Children’s Hospital.

Dispatch records said that three children were reported as injured in the crash, but the exact numbers are unclear.

The conditions of the victims is not known.
