The locally owned grocery chain Dorothy Lane Market will host its 14th annual Spring Fling Pastry and Food Show from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 19, 2018 at DLM’s Springboro store, located at 740 N Main St. Sweet items on the menu include Liège Waffle, The Bakewell Tart, Cronut, Hertzoggies, and a Killer Brownie Fondue Bar. THIRD PLACE: Ashley's Pastry Shop 

This little bake shop has become nationally known thanks to a pretty high-profile customer. Oscar-winner Allison Janney, an Oakwood native, has a little obsession with the bakery’s Sand Tart cookies and tells the world about it every time she can. Beyond the Sand Tarts, this bakery offers delicious treats including cronuts (donut/croissant hybrid), donuts, cookies, cupcakes and more. Ashley’s is a multiple first-place winner in this category.
