Best of Dayton Best Chicken Sandwich: How to vote

The chicken wars are on.

When Popeyes launched its insanely popular chicken sandwich last year, it ignited a battle amongst the fast food giants, including Wendy’s and Chick-Fil-A, for chicken sandwich supremacy.

But when it comes to finding the best chicken sandwich in Dayton, there are several local restaurants serving up some fine sandwiches you may not know about.

The team at Dayton.com put several to the test last fall amidst the national battle for a chicken sandwich king.

Now it’s your chance to weigh in.

We added this new category to this year’s Best of Dayton contest and asked the public to nominate their favorite chicken sandwiches for Best of Dayton. Those places that earned the most nominations — including local restaurants and a few fast-food chains — now appear on the final ballot up for vote through Feb. 7.
