DNC Night 2 - Sen. Barbara Boxer

Barbara Boxer said she's family with Hillary Clinton. Her grandson is her nephew.

She spoke of Hillary's closeness with her family, and talked about her strength and leadership during 9-11, and "when she restored America standing in the world as Secretary of State."

"During this campaign we've seen something else - toughness. The right win has thrown everything at Hillary. Not only the kitchen sink and stove, but the fridge and toaster, too - and she's still standing."

"In our country, if you work full-time, you should never have to live in poverty."

"Her opponent doesn't believe in the right to choose, and he picked a running mate who said Roe v. Wade belongs on the ash heap of history."
