Cincinnati airport adds new airline

Branson AirExpress is set this spring to start flights from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport to destinations including New Orleans and cities in Missouri and Mexico.

Officials on Wednesday announced the addition to the airlines already flying from the airport in Hebron, Kentucky, near Cincinnati. They say the airline operated by Orange Air will start flights to New Orleans and to Branson, Missouri, and Cancun, Mexico, on May 7.

The flights will be on 150-seat MD-83 Jet aircraft. The flights will depart from the Cincinnati airport to the leisure destinations on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and will return on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

The airline says it will offer introductory one-way fares to New Orleans and Branson for $99 and to Cancun for $199.
