By comparison, 21 percent of local companies expected to increase staffing levels in the third quarter, 6 percent expected to reduce staff, 71 percent planned to maintain staffing levels and 2 percent were undecided.
“According to employers, job prospects are expected to stay the same compared to quarter three,” said Tom Maher, a spokesman for Manpower in Dayton. “Compared to one year ago…local employers expect a slightly brighter hiring forecast.”
