KeyBank will host its annual “super refund Saturday” free tax help event at a number of Midwest locations, including at the local Job Center.

The local event will be at the Montgomery County Job Center, 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd., Dayton. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Pre-registration for the event is recommended by calling (937) 913-2000.

Key said it’s partnering with community organizations to provide free tax support.

The Earned Income Tax Credit is a refundable tax credit for low- to moderate-income individuals and families with eligible children who do not earn enough to file a tax return. According to the IRS, 26 million people have received close to $65.6 billion in EITC credits in 2016.

If you’re interested in the Key event, tax return filers are asked to bring: Valid photo ID, Social Security cards for themselves and each dependent; W-2 forms, the previous year’s tax returns, 1099 forms reporting part-time work and interest income, if applicable, unemployment forms (if applicable), proof of childcare payments, other IRS forms as appropriate and bank account information and bank routing number.
