Local car dealership acquires business out west

The White company of auto dealerships is getting bigger.

White Family Companies Inc., which owns the White-Allen auto dealerships in Dayton, where it is based, has acquired Kia of Casper through its affiliate White’s Mountain Motors in Casper, Wyo., the company said Monday.

The company and affiliates now have 24 auto dealerships in three states, including Ohio, South Dakota and Wyoming. In Ohio, the company has dealerships in Dayton, Columbus and Toledo.

Last year, the company sold more than 13,000 new and used vehicles, making it one of the largest 75 auto companies in the United States, the company said in an announcement of its acquisition.

The newly acquired dealership will be part of a company that includes White-Allen Chevrolet, White-Allen Honda and White-Allen European Auto Group in Dayton.
