Local defense firm wins Air Force intelligence contract

A Beavercreek-based defense contractor is reporting a new “multi-million dollar” contract with the U.S. Air Force.

MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB) said it has been awarded a two-year contract to support the Air Force National-Tactical Integration branch at Lackland Air Force Base. A press release did not give an exact contract amount.

Under the contract, MacB’s Information Dominance Division will provide signals intelligence analysts at military bases across the United States. The company will also provide support to the 70th and 480th Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Wings at Fort Meade and Langley AFB, respectively, the company said in a statement.

Air Force national-tactical integration work “provides a framework to standardize national intelligence contributions to” the Air Force, the company said.

With its corporate headquarters on Executive Drive and national capital headquarters in Vienna, Va., MacAulay-Brown has about 2,000 employees worldwide.
