Grunder, the company founder, started his landscaping business to make money for college. The company grossed more than $300,000 by the time Grunder earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Dayton. He was named the Young Entrepreneur of the Year of the midwest by the Small Business Administration in 2003 and was twice named young entrepreneur of the year by the state. He is a national public speaker and wrote, “The Nine Super Simple Steps to Entrepreneurial Success.” The book was named Book of the Year at the 2003 Independent Publisher Book Awards.
DAYTON – Marty Grunder, president and CEO of Grunder Landscaping Company, will be the keynote speaker at the Dayton Development Coalition’s annual meeting.
