HER Realty is developing an office in the Wright-Dunbar district that will start with five to seven real estate professionals but should grow to 10, said Veronica Morris, senior economic development specialist with the city of Dayton.
Vintage Investments has agreed to invest at least $80,000 in the building, which is home to the Innerwest Priority Board and its community development corporation, according to the city.
The board will maintain an office presence on the second floor, Morris said. The building is about 10,000 square feet.
HER chose this location partly because it is centrally located and near downtown and Interstate 75, Morris said.
Jackson liked the historical character of the building and wanted to be part of the “synergy that is happening in Wright-Dunbar,” Morris said.
Jackson did not immediately return a request for comment.
