New CEO taking over at Sogeti USA

Sogeti USA has appointed Rajnish Nath as chief executive officer of the Miami Twp.-based information technology consulting services company.

Nath replaces Navin Goel, who served as CEO since 2003. Goel will remain with Sogeti USA as the chairman and will be responsible for overseeing the IGATE acquisition by Capgemini, one of the largest acquisitions in the group’s history, company official said.

“With proven leadership skills in his role as regional vice president and indisputable passion and dedication, Raj Nath is ideally qualified to lead Sogeti USA through its next phase of growth and development,” said Hans van Waayenburg, CEO of Sogeti worldwide, in a release.

Prior to his appointment, Nath served as the regional vice president of Sogeti, overseeing its Heartland region. Starting with Sogeti as a college graduate hire, Nath has worked his entire career post-graduation at Sogeti, the company said.

“I am honored to continue my work with Sogeti in this new position. Moving forward, Sogeti will continue to position itself as a leader in IT, and make strategic investments based on the needs of our clients and current market trends,” said Nath in a release.

Under Nath’s leadership, Sogeti USA will continue to be headquartered in Dayton, the company said.

Sogeti is a business unit of the Capgemini Group, a $13 billion global IT firm headquartered in Paris, France. Sogeti USA, headquartered in Miami Twp., has annual revenues of about $500 million.
