New restaurant opens Tuesday in Wash. Twp.

WASHINGTON TWP., MONTGOMERY COUNTY — A new restaurant, Asia House Sushi Bar & Grill, is scheduled to open Tuesday, May 20 at 745 Lyons Road in the Washington Park Plaza, in space that previously housed Ichiban Seafood Buffet, according to Jennifer Wu, manager of the new restaurant.

The restaurant seats more than 300 and will employ at least 10, Wu said. The space also formerly housed a Hometown Buffet until that restaurant closed in September 2011.

The Ichiban buffet-style restaurant closed in mid-February. The new restaurant will be a table-service restaurant serving traditional Chinese and Japanese dishes, Wu said.

Asia House Sushi Bar & Grill will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. The restaurant’s new phone number will be (937) 435-1788.
