Along with an increase in new business gains, the cost to start a new businesses has dropped. In 2015, the price to start a new business was reduced by 21 percent due to an emphasis on the use of technology and improving on customer service, according to Husted’s office.
The reduction has saved entrepreneurs an estimated $1.1 million, according to the Ohio Secretary of State. The reduction in costs has made Ohio the cheapest place to open a business in the Midwest. The price to start a business is now $99.
