A paint and body shop has leased a 46,000-square-foot manufacturing property in Wapakoneta, some 16 miles from Airstream’s new manufacturing plant, a broker announced.

Tim Echemann, principal of Industrial Property Brokers (IPB), said his firm was the only brokerage involved in the lease for Pusheta Paint and Body, LLC.

Married couple Michael and Monica Coil own Pusheta and leased the standalone building on 8.3 acres at 851 Industrial Drive. The site — previously occupied by FlexArm Inc. — was leased from WRK Industries LLC.

“The facility is going to be in line with the standards of Airstream’s new plant in nearby Jackson Center, so the iconic American travel trailer and touring coach maker can offer tours where their coaches are painted,” IPB said in a statement.

Airstream is Pusheta’s primary customer. The Coils expect the facility to be ready for occupancy next month.

Close to the interchange of Interstate 75 and Ohio 33, the site is about 56 miles north of Dayton, 16 miles from Jackson Center and 83 miles south of Toledo.

“The momentum and growth of Pusheta’s business combined with Airstream’s long-term commitment to their business played a key role in bringing this transaction together,” Echemann said in his release.

FlexArm Inc. moved to a new facility in the Wapakoneta Industrial Park. The firm broke ground on its 55,000-square-foot facility at 705 Commerce Drive in September last year.
