Raytheon gets $11.5 million for Predator and Reaper work

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE — Defense contractor Raytheon Co. has been awarded an $11.5 million contract to develop and test targeting system components for the Predator and Reaper unmanned aircraft.

The work includes developing a multi-color laser rangefinder designator and other components that the aircraft use to locate and lock in on targets, the Defense Department said.
