Reynolds offers car location Web site

KETTERING — Reynolds and Reynolds has announced a service for people shopping for a vehicle: CarLocate.com.

The car search Web portal is designed to offer “efficient vehicle search features to deliver results more closely tailored to what consumers want,” the company said in a recent announcement. Reynolds cited Web tools that let consumers zero in on characteristics such as location, model, price, fuel economy and more.

Cars found on the site will be loaded automatically from participating dealerships across the country that use the Reynolds dealer management system.

Reynolds, based at a County Line Road campus, offers auto dealerships business management software and services.

The company said nearly 3,500 dealers have signed on to use the site.

Some 143 years old, Reynolds and Reynolds today has about 1,400 local employees.
