Senior defense executive named new CEO

A senior defense executive will become the new president and CEO of Riverside Research.

Steven Omick, an industry veteran with 28 years in research and executive positions in defense and intelligence agencies, will take over the dual role Monday, according to the non-profit research organization.

Omick was president of Vencore Labs, a cybersecurity, advanced networking and data analytics company in New Jersey.

Richard Annas, president of Riverside Research, will remain temporarily during the leadership transition, the company said.
