Stephanie Weber to assume ownership of Weber Jewelers

Weber Jewelers, a family-owned independent jeweler at 3109 Far Hills Ave. in Kettering, will pass ownership to Stephanie Weber, the granddaughter of the business’ founder, officials announced Tuesday.

The firm will mark the transition starting at 10 a.m. Thursday with the “Fred Weber Retirement Sale,” featuring a multi-million dollar collection of fine diamonds and couture jewelry. Officials said the entire collection must be sold to complete the transition.

Stephanie Weber’s grandfather opened his first jewelry shop in the Dayton area in the early 1930s. Her father, Fred Weber, continued to grow the family business and will now pass the torch to his daughter,

Stephanie Weber, a graduate gemologist through the Gemological Institute of America, officially joined the firm in 1990 and has been overseeing the day-to-day business for the past two years.
