Wright-Patt Credit Union to pay $4M in dividends

FAIRBORN — Wright-Patt Credit Union said today, Jan. 4, it will pay $4 million in dividends to members, the second consecutive year in which the organization has returned excess profits to members.

WPCU officials said eligible members will receive at least $10, but the amount can climb into the hundreds of dollars. The dividend will be paid today.

This year’s dividends will be paid to members of record as of Dec. 1 who own at least one account, either a loan or a deposit, with a balance of $100 or more, the credit union said. Or recipients must have had transaction activity on at least one account with WPCU within the last year, the credit union said.

In 2008, the credit union paid more than $3 million in dividends to more than 157,000 members.
