Hamilton High School Theatre presents Christmas plays

The Hamilton High School Theatre Department presents an evening of holiday one-acts, Nov. 19-21.

Due to the auditorium renovation at the high school, performances of “Christmas in Comfort” and ““CSI: Christmas Scene Investigators” will be 8 p.m. Nov. 19 and 20, and 2 p.m. Nov. 21 at Garfield Middle School.

“Christmas In Comfort” is a Christmas musical about a Hollywood actress who is forced to direct the annual Christmas play in the small town of Comfort, Ind. Hollywood collides with small town as Mona Malone, her assistant Charlotte, and her agent Hal come face to face with small town America. Can her lawyer Sam help her see the light? Or will Mona’s meltdowns be the end of Comfort’s Christmas play’s 20 year run?

“CSI: Christmas Scene Investigators” opens with Wilke High School’s annual Christmas play on the night of their final dress rehearsal. When it’s discovered that the school’s Santa statue, a long standing school tradition, has gone missing, the drama director calls in the Clue Club to investigate. Can the Clue Club track down the Santa statue in time for opening night? Or will Principal Crunge be forced to cancel the show?
