The relatively new chain with a location in Washington Twp. and two others planned in this market has made Yahoo.com's Top 10 'Most Popular Fast-Food Outlets You Haven't Heard Of (Yet)' list.
The list is comprised of rapidly expanding small chain restaurants.
Here’s what Yahoo said:
"Piada Italian Street Food (10 locations in Ohio; 100% growth rate). Imagine a Chipotle-style assembly line with Italian ingredients instead of Mexican ones: calamari, pancetta, pomodoro sauce and eggplant caponata, to name a few. Drinks include Peroni beer and Bellinis."
The Washington Twp. location was opened in October. The chain is owned by Chris Doody, co-founder of the Bravo and Brio Italian restaurant chains.
We last wrote about its delicious wraps in April.
Two additional locations are in the works.
Below is Yahoo Finance’s list or restaurants that may one day follow in the foot steps of Five Guys or Chipotle and achieve remarkable national growth.
