The Dayton natives recently filmed their movie "Boy Band: The (Heart)throb Story” in Dayton, Kettering and Yellow Springs.
"The film industry might be a behemoth of explosive big-budget blockbusters, but as the Levinsons prove, there's still a way for filmmakers with unique voices to make an impact. It doesn't even require a mascot costume."
'Boy Band' is now being edited in the Dayton area.
Co-written by the brothers, the film -- which is the brothers' first full-length feature -- will cost about $125,000.
Nearly $20,000 was raised by a Kickstarter campaign.
We dropped by the set at Refraze Recording Studio in Kettering for a behind-the-scenes look at the movie as it is being made.

Scenes for the film were shot at Dayton Art Institute, the Dayton Masonic Temple and numerous other places.
About 25 people are serving as actors and crew members in the movie. Several area residents played extras, and local students volunteered to help on the project as production assistants.
The musical comedy tells the story of (Heart)throb, a boy band whose members aren’t exactly boys anymore.
The cast includes Steve Agee, Jordan Carlos, Seth "The Zog" Herzog, Esther Ku, Dave Hill and Julie Goldman from LOGO TV's "The Big Gay Sketch Show."
