Big names in country to headline next summer's Country Concert

The summer of 2016 may not be quite over just yet, but the organizers for Country Concert 17 are already working on next summer’s big three-day event in Fort Loramie.

Blake SheltonFlorida Georgia LineOld Dominion and Jake Owen have signed on as next year's major acts, July 6-8. Tickets and camping spaces will go on sale Nov. 1. Presale tickets will be available through the individual artists' respective fan clubs beginning Oct. 24.

Shelton, the five-time Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year — and cohost of The Voice— will perform Thursday, July 6, at 10 p.m.

Old Dominion, who were recently named the New Vocal Duo of the Year by the Academy of Country Music Awards, will play Friday, July 7, at 6 p.m., with Jake Owen, of "American Country Love Song" fame, closing out that same night at 10 p.m.

The reigning Academy of Country Music Vocal Duo of the Year, Florida Georgia Line, will close out the big bash on Saturday, July 8, at 10 p.m.

Other acts added to the event include The Charlie Daniels BandJustin MooreMontgomery GentryDan+ShayCamMark ChesnuttDrake White & The Big FireCarter WinterMorgan Wallen,  Brett Eldredge and Brandon Lay.
