A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS
Formed in Liverpool, England in 1980 by singer and keyboardist Mike Score, A Flock of Seagulls vaulted to stardom with the release of their 1982 worldwide smash hit song “I Ran (So Far Away)” and its accompanying video, featuring Score in all his wing-haired glory. Their self-titled debut album also featured the Top 30 hit “Space Age Love Song” as well as concert staples “Modern Love Is Automatic” and “Telecommunication”. Their next 2 albums featured the singles “Wishing” and “The More You Live, The More You Love”. The band’s current lineup featuring 20 year AFOS veteran, Joe Rodriguez, continues to tour and play to enthusiastic crowds.
