Humane Society needs pet food, accessories

Did you know that The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is the oldest, most-established no-kill animal welfare agency in the Miami Valley?

The organization has been serving Montgomery County since 1902 . It’s the only organization in the area to deal with all types of animals — including dogs, cats, rabbits, exotics, birds, small pets and more.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Humane Society receives no government funding and relies solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund the many programs and services provided for the community.

“We are proud to help thousands of people and animals within the Dayton region each year,” said Brian Weltge, the group’s president and CEO. “Your support of our organization is greatly appreciated and helps us continue to help more animals in need!”
