“Our guests will be treated to salsa lessons from professional dancers and can buy a chance to win our Box of Chocolates in our raffle, which includes a 1-carat chocolate diamond ring,” says event chair and long-time JDRF volunteer Melissa Coleman.
What is in store: Kim Faris of 99.9 Lite FM will serve as emcee. The evening features island music and cuisine, dancing, guitarist Jim McCutcheon and the Latin music of DJ Danny D. Live and silent auctions will also take place.
Hoping to raise: More than $150,000
Dress: “Colorful Cocktail” — gentlemen are encouraged to leave their tuxes at home.
