If so, this is one event you don't want to miss.
A summertime favorite, you'll get to taste the history of this classic red wine cocktail at El Meson from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16.
“There are so many different ways to prepare sangria,” Bill Castro, owner of El Meson said. “What we want to do is introduce you to five very different interpretations on what it can be. No matter how familiar you are with sangria, we hope to introduce you to the drink in a new way.”
The tasting will also feature selected tapas to help bring out the different tones from each of the five varieties.
“There are a number of wine dinners so it makes sense that sangria can pair so well with food,” Castro said. “Our bartenders and chefs have been working together and this is going to be an amazing event.”
