The Ombudsman contacted the agency, which explained the objections received to the emancipation, which had caused the delay. Because the case is paid in full, the agency can now issue the termination order to the man’s employer. Within days, the agency confirmed that the termination order was sent to the employer, and the case was going forward to closure, once the money in holding had been disbursed.
The next week the man reported receiving the funds and was thankful for our help.
