Zink’s Meats and Fine Wines
Zink’s offers Choice Three and Prime meats only. The meats contains no preservatives, hormones, antibiotics, steroids or fillers. Co-owner Melissa Metzger used to be a nurse, and she’s told us it’s important for her to sell only quality food. The meat is grain-fed and delivered to the store daily. Meat bundles range from $99.99 to $204.99. You’ll find a wide variety, including New York strips, pork chops, ribs, boneless chicken breasts and whole fryers. Save around 25 percent off when you have whole cuts cut to order.

Keener Farm
If you’ve ever eaten at Lily’s Bistro, Lock 27, Lucky’s or Table 33, you’ve probably had Keener Farm’s meats. On a 160-acre farm that’s been in the Keener family since 1830, you’ll find the home to some of the best antibiotic-free, grass-fed beef, pastured chicken, and choice cuts of pork, sausage and bacon from pigs in the Dayton-area. Keener Farm has a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) package for its customers. These feature choice cuts and ground meat. Each CSA member gets assigned a cut list that contains all the cuts from each animal. As the packages are filled the cuts are rotated each month. Keener Farms now has a retail shop, allow you to buy directly and place orders in-store.

Haren’s Market
If you’ve ever tried the strawberry brats at the Troy Strawberry Festival, then you’ve tasted the deliciousness that comes from Haren’s. This hometown favorite located just north of Dayton is a full-service butcher shop featuring a variety of beef, pork, poultry, seafood and select exotic meats (as well as a deli, produce and grocery items). The market features fresh cut as well as pre-packed frozen items, and their cows are grass-fed and free range.
