Prisoners don't deserve such good health care

Re "Health care for prisoners costs Ohio more than $200M annually," May 15: Gov. Kasich, this looks like a good place to start budget cuts, especially for death row inmates and prisoners sentenced to life.

If Republicans are successful in repealing Obamacare, the only way I'll be able to get coverage with my pre-existing condition is to become an Ohio prisoner.

Why should a prisoner get better health care than the average person? I think they should be breaking rocks 10 hours a day, seven days a week, sleeping four to a cell, and, unless it is an emergency, no prescriptions.

I wonder what crime I could commit that would give me about a year off from my teenagers and allow me to get the surgery I've been putting off.
