5 reasons Rob Lowe will be Kelly Ripa's best Live! co-host

We are throwing our support behind Rob Lowe this political season.

The Dayton area-raised actor is in the running to be president of all morning talk shows.

That's right, America. Rob Lowe could co-host Live!

As Entertainment Tonight has it, Lowe is a front-runner to permanently co-host Live! with Ripa and is in talks with ABC.

We may not have a "vote," but we hope we can offer a little influence… a tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny bit.

Here are 3 reasons Rob Lowe deserves one of the best gigs in TV:

THOSE FREAKIN' EYES

Am I wrong here?

Look at them. Who doesn't want to wake up to that?

HE'S SUPER CUTE AND SEEMS SUPER NICE

Those dimples.

That charm.

Perfection.

Wrap him up and mail him to my house. I will take two.

He's like a really, really, really handsome Jonathan Winters.

Think about it.

HE'S EARNED IT

Seriously, this man is a work horse.

He's been paying his dues since he was a teenager in the 1980s and has appeared in what seems like 3 million movies and TV shows.

Just imagine the delightful banter Kelly and Rob can have. One word: precious.

Swoon.

Look into them and then try to say "no."
