As we told you just a few days ago, The Mural Machine and the Belmont Eastmont Hearthstone Community Council planned to team to transform the neglected park at
63-199 Nordale Ave.

Volunteers did just that during the Mural Painting Party in the Park, held on Sunday, Aug. 13.

TIffany Clark of the Mural Machine said she wanted to add flowers to a neglected pool and shelter.

"I want to make beauty out of the ugly," she told this news organization as part of our preview story.
Clark, herself a recovering opioid addict, said she wanted to support those battling heroin addiction and their families.

Family members and friends are asked to submit flower suggestions for loved ones battling opioid addiction and those who have died.
