Convective rain storms and showers are expected this afternoon and evening. Localized flooding from heavy rainfall may be a possible threat.
By evening, the stormy weather will diminish somewhat with showers returning Sunday morning.
It will be cloudy with the high temperature Saturday around 86 degrees. However, there is a 50% chance of showers or storms, mainly after 1 p.m. Saturday, so anyone attending events in the afternoon and evening, such as the River Blast in Miamisburg, should pack and umbrella or poncho in case of rain. There is a chance of showers and storms Saturday night, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm likely overnight after 3 a.m. The overnight low will fall to around 68 degrees.

The chances for rain are higher on Sunday, according to the NWS.
Showers are likely, and possibly a thunderstorm, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., then showers and storms are likely through dusk. Be sure to grab an umbrella, poncho or other rain gear before heading to holiday events, including the Dayton Reggae Festival or the ever-popular Western & Southern WEBN Fireworks in Cincinnati.
Temperatures will be a little cooler, with highs around 82 degrees.
Sunday night will be mostly cloudy with overnight lows around 67 degrees. After 2 a.m., there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Labor Day will see a high temperature around 82 degrees. There is a chance it could rain on the parade at the final day of Kettering Holiday at Home. Showers and storms are possible for the first part of the day. Showers, and possibly a storm, are likely between 2 and 8 p.m., so festival-goers should be prepared.
Monday night, rain chances will drop, though not entirely go away, leaving a slight chance of showers throughout the night and a slight chance of thunderstorms until around 1 a.m. Overnight lows will be around 65 degrees.
