Dayton woman accused of stabbing man with chef’s knife indicted

A 50-year-old Dayton woman was indicted Friday for allegedly stabbing a man with a large chef’s knife.

Danielle Dudley is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday on two counts of felonious assault in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court following her indictment by a Montgomery County grand jury.

Dudley is accused of stabbing a man the evening of Jan. 6 in the left shoulder with a large chef’s knife from the kitchen of her home in the 300 block of South Woodward Avenue in Dayton, according to an affidavit and statement of facts filed in Dayton Municipal Court.

The victim went to a local hospital, where he received seven stitches, the court document stated.

Dudley remains in the Montgomery County Jail, where has been held since her Jan. 6 arrest by Dayton police.
