Father reports son shot while they were driving in Dayton

Police are investigating after a father called and reported that his son was shot in the 700 block of Huron Avenue at around 11:29 p.m. Thursday night.

According to Montgomery County Regional Dispatch records, the man reported that they were driving on Huron Avenue when someone shot at the car, injuring his son.

The son’s condition is currently unknown. The suspect is also unknown, records said.
